It was with much fanfare that the film starring NTR to be directed by Sukumar was announced by producer BVSN Prasad. It was to go on floors immediately after the release of Mahesh Babu – Sukumar ‘1 - Nenokkadine’ this Pongal. However, sources close to the production house confirm that the project is deferred indefinitely following the failure of the director’s film at the Box Office.

NTR had an unusual failure pattern earlier with all the directors on a high after a success. The list includes VV Vinayak, B Gopal, Puri Jagannath, Surender Reddy and the latest addition being Harish Shankar. Post Ramayya Vastavayya’s failure, the young actor was also learnt to have grown annoyed and did some serious changes to his team and projects.

It was also learnt that Koratala Siva’s project was also shelved. Right now, NTR is shooting for Joru/Rabhasa of Santosh Srinivas. It will be interesting to see which strategy will the Young Tiger employ to come out in flying colors back to winning methods.
